I don't believe that analogy is apt. The Galaxy Nexus is not nor is claimed to be a straight ripoff of the iPhone. There are a few things that Apple has claimed infringes their patents, but that does not necessarily mean that the GN is an iPhone ripoff.

Not to mention the fact that when someone was buying the Galaxy Nexus, they knew they weren't getting an iPhone. There was no such confusion such as the one in the purse example.

Not for the lawyers! Given the chance to swap I wouldn't. Unlocked, easily modded gnex with Good specs compared to a locked bootloader, touchwizzed gonna be months till a new os ROM is out, but higher speced phone ain't worth it. How many JB Roms are there for the VZW GS3? When the next android os is out we will have it within a week. That alone is why I love this phone.

Anyway this is one of the silliest threads. What did the buyers lose during this process? Nothing. By the time class action suits even get to court, the sgs3 will be very old news. Who thinks about this stuff?

Maybe this would be plausible if there is a permanent ban on the galaxy nexus and there was someone who already had the phone and needed a warranty replacement but since the phone is banned they couldn't get the phone anymore. Maybe I'm thinking about this the wrong way. Someone care to guide me in the right direction??

I was just reading the the GNex is back in the Google play store and will ship in 2 to 3 weeks.
I will be starting a class action lawsuit Monday due to the extreme emotional distress I am suffering due to having to wait for something that I want right now.

Its sad that even stupid people are allowed to sue. All they have to do is work up some fake tears and even the most hardcore judge or jury will believe that a Galaxy Nexus grabbed a knife and stabbed them
