Get it while it's hot!

It always irks me that ever since I got my phone which had 9.5.7 on it, I've had to use the Oxygen Updater app to get these updates. One Plus takes forever to release these updates to everyone.

I am sick and tired of these staged rollouts. They really need to take a page out of Apple's playbook. Release the update and let anyone download it on day 1.

And I don't buy the excuse about releasing it to only a few and seeing if there are any lingering bugs before releasing it to the masses. That is why you have Beta testers to test it before you release it.

Battery life was good before, but it seems a LOT better after this update. I'm at 55% with 6 hours 41 minutes SoT. Been off the charger for 16 hours.

Yep, getting over 6 hours SOT with 40% battery used. I do have 90hz off mind you.

Same here. I turned the refresh rate and screen res down first thing when I powered the phone on for the first time. Not worth the battery trade IMO.

I disabled a few apps and now my battery has took a ****. Before I'd average 6 hours sot for 42% battery . Not anymore.

I would think disabling a few apps would help. That's strange.
I did the following..

oneplus bug reporting
adb shell pm disable-user com.oneplus.opbugreportlite

zen mode (i dont use)
adb shell pm disable-user com.oneplus.brickmode

oneplus logging
adb shell pm disable-user net.oneplus.odm

more oneplus logging
adb shell pm disable-user net.oneplus.odm.provider

Not getting my usual 6.5 hours for same standby for 40% battery usage .View attachment 306894

44% used in a 24 hour period with 5.5 hours of screen time still seems like really good battery life. Could you have been using cellular data instead of WiFi, using the phone in direct sunlight? Maybe there were a lot of updates from the play store.
