OxygenOS 3.2.4 hotfix

Security patch is still July 1, 2016. Haven't notice any difference, but frankly, didn't notice any of the issues it was intended to fix in the first place. Overall, I'm really enjoying this device.

Just got the update as well. Also didn't have any of these issues, but have had others, mainly battery life.

No issues here with Android pay
The app opens, but you can't add new cards or use it at retailers - this is very well documented since yesterday on multiple OP3 forums by many users. You will get an error when trying to pay "Android pay can't be used. Google is unable to verify that your device or the software running on it is Android compatible". Are you running a custom ROM or using the Euro/Asian version?

Yeah! The most recent update has caused my OP3 to not work with Android Pay. I tried in two different stores and it says something about not being secure...

Huh interesting...I did try it at CVS today and didn't work. But I just brushed it off cause it's always been spotty for me. I guess it is an issue then...

199 bugs in the code, 199 bugs...

You take one down, patch it around...

234 bugs in the code!

"Luckily" my bank hasn't gotten around to supporting android pay, so I can update without issue. If they haven't paused the rollout again by now.

CVS does not accept Android Pay, they disabled their NFC terminals for Google Wallet when Apple Pay came out. They are pushing a consortium wireless payment solution that has been an unmitigated disaster to date - so while the logo is on the CVS terminals, there is not wireless payment option (well accept Samsung Pay).

Did not know that...well then I guess I'm not sure if Android pay is working for me or not.

Definition of an upgrade: Take the old bugs out and put new ones in.

I used adb to sideload 3.2.2 back on my phone. Go to "support" on the OP page for step by step instructions and to download the 3.2.2 software. If you have adb, then you can copy the file and reboot in about 15 minutes. I am locked and not rooted. Android Pay is working now that I moved back to 3.2.2 from 3.2.4.
