P2 won't connect to Alexa

Hey all,

We have a P2 and a P2XL, both on Pie with current updates, neither will connect to Alexa Bluetooth no matter what I try.

I put Alexa into setup mode by holding the power button for like 8-10 secs, the light ring goes orange and it says it's in setup mode.

Put the phone into BT pairing mode, also use the Alexa app to enter BT pairing mode, nothing works, it just sits and spins

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I wasn't even aware that you could do this. At one point I had the Alexa app running on my phone doing stuff with our Echo Dot, but I'm pretty sure that was using Wi-Fi.
Guess I'm not really sure what I'd need a Bluetooth connection for.

Hey all

We use it to play music on the phone over Alexa, you can send text through Alexa back to the phone, make calls....

Got it figured out a bit ago. Had to do the pairing through the Alexa app on the website, not on the phone app
