P20 and data roaming?

Hello.

Im from the UK and have a vodaphone contract in which i can use all my mins and data abroad.

Ive just arrived in another european country and the data roaming doesnt work even tho i have data roaming switched on. I have spoken to vodaphone who state everything should be working fine.

Is there a setting which switches roaming off when the screen is locked or phone isnt in use?
