P20 lite. I can't see the battery icon

Hi! I've just bought a P20 lite and I can't manage to see the battery icon nor the bar itself in the upper side of the screen. I tried everything and nothing happened. Can anyone help me? Is there any bug in the operating system I have to fix or else?

Hi, there.

If you go into your settings and tap the Battery section then at the very bottom tap Battery percentage, it should give you the option from there. I've attached a couple screenshots, hope this helps.
