p20 pro security patch update keeps coming on to install but have already installed it

my p20 pro keeps asking me to install an update 9.1.0.311(c782e11r1p9 patch01) which is already installed any clue to wot is going on already cleared cache and factory reset to no luck

Welcome to Android Central! It's the exact same build number each time? You might need to contact Huawei support.

i will do have spoke to them 3 times already and said to do the things ive already done so ill speak to them again as its still not resolved the issue

So what month patch were you running, besides version number being the same was month also showing same on this update/patch?

I'm still on August's 9.1.0.327(C792E8R1P9) patch with my P20 Pro here in Canada, was my last update of any sorts. My carriers update schedule page shows nothing in the works as far up as Oct 21st, same goes for competing carriers.

Well at least you are seeing some activity LOL... Sorry couldn't resist.

Also own the P20 which is usually a week or more behind my Pro when an update does ensue, all quiet there too. I'd say something's definitely amiss on Huawei's server end for your variant, hopefully they get it sorted.

well its not causing any issue regarding using it so will just hang out till they realease a fix

Hi I've got exactly same problem trys to install every morning. I've disabled it to install over night. Still pops up now and then. I've let it install re install about six times. Have been on to Huawei they're not really interested. Fed up now, only like it for the amazing camera on it. Looking for a new phone.
