P4XL Camera

I bought the Pixel 4XL, so far I love it, it's very much like the Pixel 2XLi used prior.
In the camera app of the P2XL on settings there were options to turn on or off HDR and HDR+. In my new Pixel 4 XL I'm not seeing those settings giving me the option to have HDR or HDR+ enabled or not.
Is this normal for the P4XL? Does it make these choices under the hood taking our input out of the equation?
