P6 Modem problems fixed with 7?

For anyone who experienced modem issues with the P6, did the 7 fix them for you? That is basically my last remaining complaint of my P6. I need to replace it and trying to decide if I should give the 7 a try with potential black friday sales or just pick up an S22.

I have read from multiple sources that the modem problem has been fixed and personally have not had an issue with my p7 Pro.

While I can't speak for the 6 or 7, my experience going from the 6 Pro to the 7 Pro should be relevant as each series used the same modem in the normal and Pro models. I have noticed better in-building reception, better fringe reception, and (occasionally) much higher peak DL speeds with the 7 Pro, so it definitely feels much better, but as I never suffered the range of issues some had reported with the 6-series I can't speak to whether other items may have similarly improved.

Was lucky that I had no probs with 6 pro.. 7 Pro has been same for me...

I had modem issues with p6 pro. Have no issues with p7 pro. Have a constant signal pretty much everywhere now.

A bit better. The pixel 7 pro still struggles to keep connection on calls in a known bad area. Whereas my s22 plus manages to keep the call.

My experience has been improved reception (quantified by dB) in moving from the 6 pro to the 7pro.

My Pixel 7 Pro is an order of magnitude better than the 6 pro, not just cellular reception either. I have an S 22 Ultra and the P7 Pro is every bit as good with cellular reception as the S 22 U. I live in a largely rural area without any 5G. The LTE cellular coverage is pretty good, but there are enough dead spots you need to pay attention. The P6 pro would not hold onto a call for any length of time, dead spots or otherwise.
