As per the title, after using P6P for another 4 months, i moved to S22 Ultra. I initially liked it a lot and sold my P6 Pro. The cameras were at par with Pixel, the UI4 has been polished and good lock gets you what's not available in the stock software. There were no glitches. Also, i found Bixby routines had more functionality than Google Routines. But, i missed the overall Pixel Experience throughout plus some features like Hold For Me, Google translate, Voice typing through Gboard etc. So I am back to P6 Pro

For me it's more the call screening with all the spam calling it's nice to have a robot talk to another robot lol

I haven't noticed any difference between voice typing on my Pixel 6 and S21 Ultra... maybe it's my midlands accent, but it's a total non-feature.

I also can't handle the "picxel experience". It's too barebones... feels like riding a horse and cart when I'm used to flying a spaceship.

But each to their own.

It's good to give your must-haves a try to see which one would work best for you! I can totally understand that. It's so hard to choose between Samsung and Pixel. Good for you for trying both! Enjoy your Pixel 6 Pro!

I did the same thing with last year's Ultra. I too sorely missed call screening and GBoard voice typing. The absolute killer for me was Samsung's decision to totally block the ability to display hours:minutes:SECONDS. I need to see seconds because I'm a short-term stock trader. Samsung's blocking displaying SECONDS is downright unforgivable.

Yeah man! i love the Pixel UI for some reason, always come back to Pixels after a while. Longest i used was S21 Ultra because the Pixel 5 was underwhelming esp coming from Pixel 4 XL. I loved the form factor on Pixel 5 and also the FPS, but the 1080p/FHD display did not work for me. The top most priority for me buying a phone is a QHD display :)

I have both phones and love them both. Both phones are smooth as heck., really good batteries, but I get so many robo calls and spam messages, I will likely let the S22U go and keep the P6P.

I forgot they do this! Crazy!

The only area where I have to give it to S21/S22 Ultra is ergonomics. Pixel 6 Pro is almost unusable without a case which is frustrating.

I'm guessing you've never actually used an S21 Ultra or S22 Ultra...

It's possible people may like the feel, but calling them "ergonomic" is frankly ludicrous.

I'm not even sure what your talking about here. They are big glass slab phones. Both are slippery and not practical without a case.

Ultra has better display, face unlock and a much better finger print scanner. Other than that, both phones are pretty on par. Just depends on what your wants in a phone are.

I have both phones and I switch back and forth often. I love the real tone on the Pixel 6 Pro camera and the call screening options. My S22 Ultra does have a better display but I always find myself going back to my P 6 Pro.

Haha I'm actually the opposite. I use my ultra more than I used the P6P... I do enjoy both phones and the call screening and voice assistance is my main thing for using the pixel...

I didn't like the plastic, hollow sound of the Pixel pro when tapping the display. My friends iPhone 13 pro has the same thing. Samsung really does save their best displays for themselves.

And I thought I was the only one...

Resolution of Pixel 6 Pro:
1440 x 3120 pixels, (~512 ppi density)
Resolution of S22 Ultra:
1440 x 3088 pixels (~500 ppi density)

Isn't that interesting. The Pixel 6 Pro is actually sharper.

Oh wow, i didn't realize that. Some people rate the displays by brightness level but for me Pixel 6 Pro is bright enough .
