P6 Pro System storage?

Can someone post the noted "System" storage on the 6 Pro? Trying to decide between a 128gb and a 256gb. I can figure out my own storage needs, but not sure if the system storage on the Pro will be similar to the system storage currently on my 4XL

Example...

Understand that photos will go up but never far from a computer (even when camping in my trailer) to download if required.

Trying to figure out if a 128gb will be ok or go with the 256gb.

Odd... my unlocked (Google Store) 256GB cloudy whiteP6 Pro indicates 14GB. Not sure what would account for a 54% increase in system usage when that's just supposed to be files to run Android 12. I could see a small variance being the result of a carrier- vs non-carrier-version, but certainly not that much; likewise, it would seem more likely that the unlocked non-carrier-version would be less encumbered.

Mine is from Google Store, unlocked, and then set up on T-Mobile. I did use the copy data feature, but only for messages and the like - all apps were installed manually. I don't know if it would make any difference, but I do have multiple email accounts (4) set up on the device.

My 4XL, unlocked, running Tracfone.

Wondering if the variances could be due to different systems settings as well as system information for communications such as identification settings to phone towers, passwords to wi-fi, etc.

However, it sure looks like I do not, and never will, need an extra 128gb. I usually download photos from the phone to my laptop approx. every two months, and can always do the download more often if necessary.

System also takes up 14 GB on my unlocked 128 GB 6 Pro direct from Google.

Interestingly, my 64 GB Pixel 3a XL shows 17 GB used by the system, so they've slimmed things down a bit on the 6. As was previously mentioned, system storage usage typically goes up proportionally with the total internal storage size, so this difference is even greater than the absolute numbers show (since I'm comparing a 64 GB phone to a 128 GB phone).

Also keep in mind that Pixels use dual A/B partitions, so the actual system usage is half of what's shown, but then doubled due to the dual partition.

I'm great understanding USC, and still read The Informer as issued by FLETC on a monthly schedule (and now that I have confused you);

I'll ask, if something is half of what is shown and then doubled due to the dual partition, isn't it the same number?

So if it says 14gb it should be half (7gb) then doubled back to 14gb. Meaning the only number that matters is 14?

Correct? Or should I have done better in math?

Still get the feeling that 128gb should be all I will need.

LOL,what I mean is that the actual system is 7 GB, but it's doubled due to the dual partitions. I should've elaborated, but I find this interesting because there are plenty of devices that DON'T use dual partitions and whose system takes up more than 14 GB. For example, my 32 GB TCL Tab 8 has almost 16 GB taken up by the system (much of that is TCL and Verizon bloat).
