Hey! Question for everyone. I got the smaller P9 Pro on Friday, and it's been great. No issues charging at all. I'm using the Samsung 25w Super Fast brick that I had for my S22+. This morning though, I thought the battery might be draining quickly overnight, so I did a restart. I restarted it at 27%, and when the phone turned on, it said 11%?! I plugged it in, and it was charging fine, but it stopped around 85% at 830am and said it would be fully charged by 915am, which I thought was weird. I decided to shut the phone off for a few minutes, and it said 98% when I turned it back on?! I plugged it back in and topped it off to 100%, but I'm wondering if you all think this is a weird one time thing or a bigger hardware issue? I was thinking of picking up the new 45w Google charger to see if that would make a difference.

Thanks in advance! :)

Are you using adaptive charging? Check out adaptive charging info at Google Help HERE.

Google recommends a 45W USB-C PPS (Programmable Power Supply) adapter for your phone (it doesn't have to be Google's adapter and 30W is probably enough as long as the adapter is PPS and from a reputable company). If your current adapter is PPS there should be no issue charging the phone. However, it will not be charging as rapidly as it could be using a 30-45W PPS adapter as the Pixel 9 Pro is rated to charge at 27W.

I'm not actually. I wanted to update my post. I noticed it was stuck on 100% for a while with 30 min of screen time, so I decided to restart it. It came back on at 93%. Ugh. I hope this isn't a big issue!

How long have you been using the phone? I know my P8P acted a little wonky with battery in the beginning, but settled out after a week or two. Have you checked to make sure you are up to date with all available system and app updates for your phone?

I got the phone on Friday and have been setting everything up, so maybe that's why it's acting a little weird. It hasn't been warm or anything and seems to be draining ok since my last post. Everything is up to date, so I guess I'll monitor it! I got it from Amazon, so I have a month to return it if needed.
