I want to backup all app data/settings using Samsung Backup/restore feature as I don't know any other way to do this without rooting. However, when I disable everything out of the box from Package Disabler Pro it doesn't allow Samsung backup to work. Does anyone know what I need to uncheck in Package Disabler to get the backup and restore to function properly?

First thing will be to try to see how many apps and services you have disabled with it and go from there. I don't use Package Disabler Auto list, I disable the ones I want manually, that's the only way you are 100% sure you will disable only what you want and not what others want for you.

But if it works well for you and just not the Backup, then check to see if you have disabled Samsung Account, Samsung Push Services or basically verify all your services beginning with Samsung on the name and re-enable them, then try to backup after that.

I will give that a try. Thank you. If anyone has found the definitive answer I would greatly appreciate it.

What is this Samsung Backup you refer to?

Oh, wait. That's right. Verizon offers a paid version of their backup app.

Never mind.

A package disabler can be very useful, however, you need to be very careful with with what you disable. If you are not absolutely sure on what you are disabling it can do more harm than good. It can even increase battery drain if you disable the wrong things.
