Does anyone use this for their new Note 7? I used to for my Note 5 but wondering with new power management if it would be necessary.

Yes.
It's the first thing I installed, then I disabled tons of bloat.
Love it.

I use EZ Disabler Pro. Same premise, but I like it better than PDP.

Using it as well. There's some pretty good lists in this thread over at XDA. For the T-Mobile variant but that should only be relevant for the T-Mobile apps.

I always look at those threads and wonder what benefit they're really getting. I've tried disabling lots of things and it never makes any real difference in performance or battery life.

I've mostly just disabled a few apps I don't use and DT Ignite. I also blocked all OTA updates.

Has anyone ever noticed any real difference after using these tools?

So since we don't have a IR Blaster do we even need this enabled?com.samsung.android.controltv

Yes use it for bloat. Power management doesn't do anything when it comes to removing At&t or Samsung bloat from view or background activity.

It helps your battery life but on experience I don't think it makes major difference.

I'm using EZ Disabler pro! First thing I did on my device was disable all the stuff I know I will not use.

I'm just wondering if it really makes a difference in the end. If it does I'll install it. If not then I'll just ignore for now.

Also first app I installed to disable all that extra garbage on Att's Note 7.

Hey Lou, I was just waiting until the end of the thread to say that AT&T didn't really have that much - what did you find that you considered AT&T Bloat?
