Pages question

I seem to have 5 screens with which I can fill with apps
but also an app button which brings all the apps up
At the risk of sounding dumb what do I use the other screens for?
Do I drag apps onto them all. Or is it space for more apps?

The home screens can be used for widgets (don't use AP mobile) (tap and hold until the menu at the bottom pops up and select widgets or apps). You can put your most used apps, hell you can put a contact like your wife or GF right on the home screen. Hit her pic and your phone calls her. BTW...you don't have to fill all those screens. Pinch the screen and you will see a layout that will allow you to move their order or remove any of the empty ones.
