I hope everyone has redeemed their free $50 for Google Play by now (see this thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...google-play-credit-purchasing-their-note.html)

Since we're all filthy rich now, let's recommend each other some worthy paid apps. I'll go first ...

Star Chart https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...games.starchartgoogleeducation&token=9DK_edIk
I've always had the free version, have yet to install the paid version.

Exoplanet Explorer https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...=org.burlock.exoplanetexplorer&token=keDD4QO1
Another space app, just really intriguing to me.

SwiftKey https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ails?id=com.touchtype.swiftkey&token=GNthhY5E
Been using this app forever, best keyboard IMO.

Nova Launcher https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...com.teslacoilsw.launcher.prime&token=T2RqmomB
Again, I've only used the free version so far, don't see why I wouldn't want to support the developer.

Shazam Encore https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...s?id=com.shazam.encore.android&token=nTXaWeJr
Who doesn't use Shazam? (I know Google Now does the same thing now)

All I can think of for now, your turns!

I bought Nova Prime version over a year ago. Best money ever spent on my phone! Enjoy! :)

I have no idea what to get...
I got Nova prime, titanium backup, Tasker, my tether app is stock and rooted to allow unlimited so FoxFi wouldn't be good I don't think..

Hmm...

Hi! I'm new to android. Nova Prime takes place of touchwiz right?

Yes. You use Nova Launcher and you can buy the prime to unlock more features.

Yea I just bought Trigger Pro and im gonna get some NFC tags pretty soon, other than that im clueless as to what else to get.

It's like when you don't have the money there is so much to buy but when it's you have it there is nothing to buy!

I forgot there were a few Augmented Reality apps that I was looking at back a few years ago (a weather App that seemed a little cool, but not worth the price at the time) so I did a search augmented reality apps online and saw this All Things Appy: 5 Best Augmented Reality Apps for Android | Reviews | TechNewsWorld

I'm also going to see which old school emulator works best. Nothing like playing NES, SNES, or some other old school platform on my device. Below is a MAME emulator. Oh and these may not be the best on even our note devices, but if you have a 7 or 10 inch tablet, these are definitely worth looking into.

tasker and swiftkey are solid bets.

i want at least one game. anybody play modern combat or nova 3 (game, not launcher)?

I have them already, but adding to the recommended list....
ROM Manager, Titanium Backup, an office app (I like OfficeSuite best, but all are solid).

My problem is I've been on Android since the day the G1 came out on T-Mobile. I been buying apps since day one. I seem to have everything I want... Oh well. Guess I'll donate most of it to "One Today". 50 bucks, 50 Projects.

Looking at getting Tasker.. every one here seems to say its good.

Also just got CamCard for business scanning.. I am in sales and needed a good one!

Might also try that Switchr app. Seemed to be a good way to switch between apps one handed.

I thought maybe I could get some music with my credit, but Google Play's music is a PITA! I couldn't locate it in the phone to move it in with my other music library and so my stock player wouldn't even identify the song. In order to get it correctly added, I had to download it onto my computer and then move it. Google should really consider changing how it lets end-users use their own PAID for music. DRM be damned, even iTunes has made it a bit easier to deal with purchased music. I guess I'll have to find another way to blow through $49 worth of Google Play credit....

I bought grand theft auto 3,,great game

THE BEAST,,NOTE 3. SIZE IS EVERYTHING!!!

I didn't get a play card :(

But a couple paid apps I'd recommend are:

--EasyTether Full ($9.99). This is for people who don't have their device rooted or have no plan to root at all, but still want to use their phone as a modem if they're in a bind. All that's needed is the software on your computer and a USB cable.

--DraStic DS Emulator. For those who love DS games and don't feel like packing along their DS. I've wasted so much time amusing myself with this app. There is a trial version that lasts 30 minutes IIRC.

Hmmmm...

Sorry for the tease, but this isn't compatible with the Note 3. What I find interesting is that it's compatible with my old Rezound, which is much smaller than the note 3.
