Pairing 2 earbuds?

Hi all,
I have these Bluetooth earbuds, unwired. An A and a B.
I can only hear audio from one earbud at a time. They'll both pair together just fine, but only one will be active and play audio at a time.
I can switch back and forth thru the bluetooth menu on my phone.

Is there nothing I can do to be able to hear audio from two Bluetooth devices at once on my Pixel 2xl? I'm running PIE.

I have a ME Bluetooth connected to my TV which has two channels...an A and a B for connecting two headsets or earbuds. I can easily pair both of these earbuds and hear the audio from both. Obviously because it has two channels.

Thanks

From what I've read that's a no on having multiple devices working at the same time on the Pixel. For example I have a Fitbit Blaze hooked up to the Pixel and my car but if I have the car playing through my Pixel the Fitbit won't receive any notifications from my Pixel

There are stereo earbuds that pair to each other, and one of them pairs to the phone to get stereo sound, then send one channel to the other one. But they come in pairs. You can't do it with just two of the same earbud.

Then I'm wondering what is the point of manufacturers selling earbuds in pairs if only one can be active at a time??
I'm sure there are devices that can recognize wireless Bluetooth earbuds and let sound come out of both... a Pixel just isn't one of them. Sucks

Doesn't matter now anyway... I just went and bought another Skullcandy Ink'd wireless headset. At least now I can listen in BOTH ears. These no-name pair of earbuds went into a drawer. I just can't understand their purpose.

If you bought a pair of earbuds (a packaged pair, total of TWO buds) and only one is working, you may need to engage support for the buds manufacturer to get assistance. I have the Zolo Liberty+, a packaged pair of buds (two buds), when I remove them from the case I sometimes need to push the button on each of them to turn them on and connect to each other but I get sound from BOTH. These buds work as @Rukbat suggests, they pair to each other and only one pairs to the phone.

If you have two pair (four buds), no, this will not work.

Truly wireless earbuds work fine with the Pixel 2 and 2xl. I have the Jabra Elite 65T and the Samsung IconX. Both the left and right earbuds work at the same time.

They are a packaged pair... in a pill box. Cheapy no-names from Amazon I'm sure...they were a gift.

But no matter how I enable or pair them, which isn't a problem, only one will have audio. Im going to just play it off as crappy design. I'm sure a better quality buds would work. It's just weird that both will pair to the phone at the same time but not both play audio. I've even tried different apps to see if that might be the issue, but no love.

Thanks for the help y'all. I appreciate it.

I think this is the key. As noted previously, they should pair to the phone as a pair, not individually. Usually one of the buds is a "master" that pairs to the phone then the "slave" connects to the master. I THINK that's one of the cool things about the Zolo buds I have, whichever one connects to the phone first is the master.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong. The manual is in broken English.

Even though they've been previously paired to the phone, they'll come on and say Pairing and never pair. I have to go into Bluetooth and select each one to connect. Now, that may be them trying to pair to each other, but even if I leave the right one in the dock, the left Master just keeps trying to pair. I have to force it. Maybe it's looking for the right bud, but they still never pair to each other.
They're cheap Larnn buds.

Yeah, that's definitely not the manual. That's an entirely different model of ear bud. Like I said, it's in broken English and a lot longer than that.
If they would pair to each other, I'd be all set.
But thanks.
