Here's a summary.
The Pandora app on the S8 works fine and pairs with other bluetooth devices such as external speakers and headsets. I reinstalled it to make sure it was updated
The S8 pairs with the Acura and Pandora will play when the cars Bluetooth app is selected but sound quality and volume are poor and there is no functionality such as changing stations, etc.
The S8 will not connect when the Acura's Pandora app is selected and the Acura display says "not connected, no data". This began after the last Android update sometime in July. Prior to that, it was working perfectly for nearly 2yrs.
I also tested the S8 on my other car which is a 2015 Toyota Avalon and has the same exact issue. My neighbor also has the S8 and we paired on both the Acura and the Avalon and had the same result.
Hope you can help.
