Pandora not working unless connected to wifi

Hopefully someone can help me because I feel like a total ***** when it comes to Android stuff. My Pandora only works when I'm connected to WiFi. It used to work any time but now it doesn't. I'm sure it's probably a matter of changing settings but I don't know what to do. Help please!

Hm that is weird. I haven't used Pandora in forever but I doubt they'd have a wifi only option.. But it is possible.

Ensure there is nothing in the settings. You could also clear the app cache or just try and reinstall the app.

I restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and no luck. The little circle just spins round and round and no songs load. Starting to get really frustrated as I depemd on Pandora when I walk my dogs and drive.

I'm experiencing the same problem too with my S5. I just received it on May 12th (last Monday) and opening the app with 4G LTE, Itll load the song but right when it plays it skips onto the next continuously and literally its a wth face. But when its connected to the wifi its perfectly fine. Hope someone can help us

Settings->data usage->menu(top right)-> "uncheck" restrict background data

Make sure you are not in any battery saving mode.

You, Jon Jackson, have finally saved me a world of grief! I've been battling this problem ever since getting my S5, and it was just that--I was in battery saving mode, and it restricted background data. It affected Pandora as well as many other applications. May you be fruitful and prosperous and may your car never break down on a vacation.

Does anyone else have other advice on a solution for this? I have tried swapping back to the 3G network (off LTE) on my S5 (4g), turned off data restrictions and I'm not in battery mode either. I can't play Pandora or Stitcher radio on my network connection (Amaysim), only wifi. I used to use a Note 2 (3g) on the same network with no problems at all. Contacted Amaysim and they don't have a clue. Thanks for your help in advance.

Not a solution, but have you guys tried Milk Music? It's like a Pandora for Samsung devices, without the ads. Mine works perfectly with or without Wi-Fi.

I have a samsung mini III. I just took out Pandora paid subscription. Had same issue. Pandora would only work over wifi, not 4g. Decided to see, if I turned my phone into a mobile hot spot and add this same phone as a device allowed to use the hot spot, if Pandora would work. Low and behold, it does !!! And now, even with the hot spot turned off, it works over 4g. Hope this works for others

Ok so i had to go to advanced Wi-Fi options and turn on automatic mobile data when not connected to Wi-Fi. Im not sure why since everything else including the internet worked perfectly but it immediately fixed it.

Edit: I have the flex 2.
