Panoramas not prompting 360 view

I posted a panorama from this camera on Facebook and it just posted as a skinny long image. It didn't go into 360 mode like it used to when I was using a note 5.

The mode where you can move the mage side to side or move your phone around to see it.

Just tried it with the Google Camera also. Panorama photos will not prompt the 360 pan mode in Google Camera gallery or Google photos. If I create a photosphere with Google camera it has the Google globe icon that let's you move your phone to see it. It also works in Facebook.

Did something change with the way Note 8 takes a panorama shot?

I saw similar complaints with the s8 too. Must be a change in the new Samsung UI because it worked on my note 5 with nougat
