Pantech?

Hi folks! I'm brand new to the smartphone world. So new, I just came from an LG flip phone to an Android phone. (insert joke here....)

I've used the search forum with no luck, but, I'm just curious if anyone here is using a Pantech Marauder? I got one through Verizon, because the rep said it was a good one to use for newbies. So far, I like it, although, I still have a long way to go in learning it's features.

I'm mainly using it for my hockey addiction. Scores, news, etc. Of course, I have to wait for the damn season to start (if it ever does), so, in the meantime, I'm trying to learn it's other useful features. Just wondering if anyone else likes their's.

try using new apps
make sure you check them with "ad network detector"
an app should not require unecessary permissions
like say a live wallpaper need not connect to the internet unless it has something like a news ticker or weather info update
