I just rooted my son's phone to Sapphire 0.8.4 (first time to root it) and now papaya farm will not work...actually it seem that none of the papaya programs that we tried will work. Anyone else have this problem or is there a setting/file problem on our phone?

First time running papaya farm it forcecloses...then try to re-run it and it will only show the programs background screen and stop loading.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

You re downloaded it from the market? I'm assuming you followed the Droid-Life instructions since that is the Rom they suggest.

I'm not familiar with that app, is it paid or free? If it is paid, it could have some sort of copy protection that is kicking in saying you're loading on an unauthorized device. I would do a wipe data/cache and then try installing it from the market again. if it still gives you errors, contact the developer and see if they made their product work with 2.2 or if there is some other error.

Papaya Farm

Hi,

I have an HTC Magic (MyTouch3G) which is running Android 2.2 and I have the same problem. I emailed the developers and there have been a couple of back and forth email but they haven't confirmed that Papaya actually works on Froyo at the moment.

If I find anything new I'll let you know.

I had this prob too. Please uninstall papaya. Make sure you are saving your apps to the phone and not the sdcard. Reinstall papaya farm. The game should work now.
