Parental Control & Keeping mobile data turned off

I stumbled upon airplane mode that turns off mobile data & then you can turn wifi back on.

Now I would still like to be able to the parental control. Maybe more specifically, have a user account for the kids (where they can play games already on PC but download others, not turn mobile data back on, etc) & an administrator account that has full access.

Again, any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

We recently purchased this tablet which our kids use. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good parental control app (limits downloads, limits content that can be viewed, set an adminstrator account, etc). Also, since we bought this from Sprint, is there anyway to only limit this to use WIFI & not turn mobile data back on if you are away from an already connected to router (like home).

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Oh nice you got the 'good' model. You should be able to set up a second user profile on it, and I believe face login also works with that.

Pull down the top bar, tap the gear in upper right. Data usage, More settings.... and Users, Lock Screen, Security. Those five areas should have the tools you desperately need. You can totally block 3G/4G tower data under More settings..., and the Data usage profiles cellular consumption. You can set a timetable in line with your Sprint usage/billing cycle, then a data usage warning plus hard data cutoff by dragging the bars downward on the graph. YES it rescales as you lower the hard cap. Overage is very cheap on Sprint so don't sweat a few MB if it happens by accident.

I think my preferred MX Player has a lock mode for videos to prevent child tampering while they are being programmed to lose all social skills ....please make sure they actually have to interact with grownups even if it's inconvenient for you.
