Why is it taking so long for banks to participate in Samsung Pay? Apple Pay is doing well with all kinds of banks jumping on but Samsung Pay seems to be really slow. I was really looking forward to this but it just seems like a hype train. Teasing us with a few banks and even with those participating banks, not all of their cards are eligible. You would think banks would be quick to join because Apple Pay is already popular and provides more security with those payment method.

Samsung pay doesn't add the banks. The banks have to participate. You're making it sound like it's on Samsung

Yeah im guessing chase is dragging their feet to launch chasepay, as not to lose customers to samsung pay before they have a chance.

According to chase, samsung pay will be supported later this year. Chase pay is set to release the middle of 2016

I have no idea. Maybe the have an exclusive contract with apply pay. I don't know. I will tell you this, my chase card works with Android pay. You can use that for now

I tried just now and it doesn't let me add my chase credit card to Android pay.

I transferred all my cards from my Google wallet account. I've never added them through android pay. Maybe I found a glitch in the system

I used it at McDonald's and didn't need a pin but that was a few weeks ago. I'll try again today
