Parting ways

Anyone got a good suggestion for a messaging app? Have used GoSMSPro for years but am ready to walk away since it sucks now that the devs got greedy. Is there anything similar or is there some end all be all app that I haven't found yet. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!!

Hand cent or chomp sms are the ones I have used in the past. I think I like hand cent better but I know they both have their advantages.

I use go sms pro but i dont see any add or anything so whats the problem?

Contact photos gone.......Can't send or recieve pics(MMS) messages. Emailed them several times to try to fix this sent them diagnostics from in the app and no response. the problem is theirs not mine as stock messaging app works fine as well as some of the other apps I have tried.

Handcent.. Used it on my Nexus S 4G.. Had to stop its processes because it was eating up battery at an alarming rate, but that only happened once or twice. Nice app otherwise.

I used to use Handcent but it wont seem to receive MMS so I went back to stock messenger.
