Password problem, probably my fault!

I tried to access Google Play Store today, only to be asked for a Password. I have treid evey password I can think of, still cannot access PlayStore.

I don't remember being asked for a password at this stage before.

Does anybody know what might have changed and/or WHICH password I need (I am already IN the system in order to be able to see the Play Store icon)?

If your accessing it from your device then the only password I know of which can be added is if you OPT to add a password protection to allow purchase of apps that require payment. Otherwise you should be able to access the Play Store from your device.

Thanks all for responses. The problem has now disappeared, but as far as I know I didn't do anything to the Android to make this happen!
