Password Problem

Hey all, this is my first post here. I am having a bit of a problem, and hope someone can help me. I upgraded to Froyo about a week or so ago. Whatever day it was launched OTA. I have not had this problem until yesterday, and have made no changes that I am aware of. I have never set a password, and as most may know, the default PIN is 8888. Yesterday, my phone restarted on its own. Now, whenever I enter settings, or launch my camera or camcorder, it prompts me for my PIN. I enter 8888 and get right in. How do I stop this? I don't want to have to enter a PIN. I went into security and found nothing to stop this. I changed my PIN to something only I know, but I don't want to have to enter it every time I take a picture. Anybody know how to fix this?
