Ever have one of those days where your phone craps out so much you want to throw it against the wall?

Well, today was the day for me. GPS craping out, phone signal non existent and Internet not working was what threw me over the edge. I threw that little bastard at the wall and it was so invigorating. I have the otter box on it and it all came apart. I walked over and picked up all the pieces and to my amazement nothing was broken. I put everything back together and put it down for awhile so I could cool down. I started the phone back up and again to my amazement everything is running perfectly for the past 2hrs so far. So, for all of you that get to the same point of frustration and feel the need to get out some aggression, then have at it.
I think I found a new way to fix all the bugs this Galaxy nexus has.

SMACK against the wall. LMAO. I really lost it and I'm a little disappointed that I did. But I just had enough of the everyday occurrences and unreliability of this device. I know thats no excuse but sh-- happens.

I've been there before. In my house trying to make a phone call or send a text message and it keeps failing.

I've never thrown a phone but my ps3 controllers have hit the carpet a few times in the living room. I've also tossed the phone on my desk in aggression a few times. Never the wall because I would get even more angry if I ruined the wall taking out my aggression.

My friend boinked a wall with hers, it messed up part of the screen. But that wasn't being pis*ed at the phone it was something else.

Back in January, after less than a month with the GN, I became disgusted that a Nexus device could be such a buggy turd, I gently threw it into a box with the $150 worth of accessories and cases, and bought an iPhone 4 on craigslist.

I went from daily enragement to boredom.

The otterbox blocks signal. I've had it on most of my devices and noticed a signifigant signal change when I have the otterbox off. TPU for me from now on :) hope this helps. ( experiences may vary)

I use the otterbox defender and have no difference in my signal. Makes me wonder why it would dull the signal on some but not others.

I had one of those moments yesterday...went to take a picture of the kids and the camera wouldn't respond... tried a few times and had to power cycle it. The wife whipped out her iPhone and was clicking away.

A few hours later I had another picture perfect moment and guess what happened....f&#%ing camera wouldn't respond again.

I love android but i am soooo sick of inferior software.

Funny you should say this...my son, who has been a huge Galaxy Nexus fan is always telling me I'm too critical of the phone and the problems are not as bad as I make them out to be. Even though his GN loses signal all the time, can't hear his phone when it rings, etc. he always puts on a good face and says no big deal. Until today that is...

Today he was trying to do something that was time sensitive and he lost data signal twice and was so pissed off and said he was going to "throw this POS out the window if it loses data one more time" (which it did). I think he was seriously thinking about throwing it out the window until I let him borrow my RAZR MAXX so he could finish his task.

Tonight he is searching the web for all information on when the update will be released. I had to poke him a bit and asked him "why do you need an update for that awesome phone?" to which he gave me a dirty look.

Well if you look at the layers and layers of protection then you would pretty much understand the conclusion I came to :)

it'd seem to me that if everything is working now, then throwing it against the wall amounted to a battery pull?

First thing that popped into my head was the song from the lonley island "threw it on the ground"

I've wanted to throw my OG Droid at the wall several times, but never the Nexus. As mad as the Droid made me want to though, I never did.

I threw mine once, but it was at my fluffy bed. That frustration that prompted me to throw it also prompted me to flash a ROM and new radios.

It's all happy pink unicorns now ;)

Edit: it was also dmmarck and 2defmouze, I was on the edge and they helped me jump. I tried to hold out, but I couldn't resist any longer. "Resistance is futile."

im at the point of breaking my gnex in half right now.

i left it off for a few hrs. i turned it back on. its been super laggy and slow. especially when im sending texts. it takes forever to load the messages and for me to type. there is no other app running in the background and it keeps lagging, very very frustrating.
