PayPal and note 5 fingerprint scanner

Has anyone gotten this to work? I don't see any options but I'm new to the Note so I may be looking in the wrong place.

It won't/doesn't. It relies on Fido for recognition which isn't compatible with Samsung's new recognition protocol. Every time I opened PayPal it offered to set up recognition. Everytime I got an error response. The answer for me was to remove Fido and that eliminated the fingerprint option from PayPal. It'll be interesting to see how Samsung handles fingerprint recognition from their Pay competitors like PayPal and Android Pay.

Honestly if I can start using Samsung pay, it'll be a non issue. I don't really use PayPal for much mobile anyway.

This is my first phone with a fingerprint scanner but fir me is been working flawlessly. I've yet to not have it work on the first try.
