PC not recognising N4 as a usb device

hi ,
I am running slimbean 4.3. i have installed all the adb drivers and now when i connect my N4 the pc is not recognising it as a usb device even when i have selected the MTP option.
I uninstalled all the google adb drivers and reinstalled the n4 drivers still the system is not recognising my device. Any pointers how i can go around solving this issue.

you have to change the adb drivers to MTP drivers on your PC device manager.

right click device on device manager and click "Update device Software"
Click "Browse your Computer for driver Software"
Click "Let me Pick from a list of device drivers on my Computer"
Click Next, for the device list shown.

select MTP and then it should work

I just turned off USB debugging and windows 7 PC recognized.
