PDAnet tethering HELP

[AC Question]

So Im using pdanet to tether my phone to my laptop works great but today for some reason when I went to connect it.it ended up connecting as a dial up PDA net modem and it's slower before it would connect as PDA net broadband connection and it was faster I cannot figure out what happened or how it happened but does anyone know how to change it back I also cannot find anything on the web about it
