Pebble, Smartwatch 2 or wait

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. I am thinking about using my Christmas money to purchase a smart watch. Would be curious about opinions on this. My title says it all. Thoughts?

We're pretty sure Google is working on watch heavily based around Google Now (which would be awesome) and there will eventually be a second generation Galaxy Gear. Only problem with those offerings is that there is no concrete timeline for an announcement let alone a release date. If you want one right now the pebble is probably the best watch. It's also on sale on pebbles website ($20 off, DEC.26-29) hope this helps.

Pebble is on sale @ Best Buy today for $119.99. probably gonna go get one and give it a try myself.
