People App after 4.2

So just noticed that after my 4.2 update a few weeks ago my contacts have vanished. Has anyone else had this happen? How do I go about getting them back again? Thanks in advance.

Were they synced with your Google account? If they were you should be able to get them. Log in to your Gmail account and see if they are there.

I thought they were but I just checked and apparently not. Sucks... O well.

You have to make sure that you choose to have your phone use your Gmail linked account or else it is just stored locally to your phone.
