So I have been having problems with duplicate names in my contacts. Some people have 100 entries or more. I know when I first set up my phone I put in my facebook info and my gmail account. I also imported a phone contact file from my old phones sim card which seems to be part of the problem. When trying out the new google voice search if I say call(name) or text(name) or email(name) google doesnt recognize any of my contacts. I did some searching and found that I should just start over with my contacts, so I removed my facebook for sense and stock facebook contacts from the people app. Now my phone has no contacts at all and when I open the people app it just says loading and if I try importing my sim contacts it forces close. I added my facebook for sense info back to the people app and it just says loading and that I have 0 friends it will load my profile and wall info in the people app though. Basicly it is like the people app is broken all together?

I almost threw my phone at the wall and it seriously drove me to knock a few beers down a few nights ago for almost the same thing. I had to edit a contact and when I hit edit contact... the person had almost 20 to edit and they were all Google accounts. I checked through most of my contacts and they all had multiple accounts to edit. It's so damn frustrating. What annoyed me even more is when I went to mylookout.com it showed me having almost 1300 contacts... And when I go to my accounts on Google it says I only have 97. I dunno wtf is going on but it's SOO damn frustrating. What's also weird is some of the contacts don't show in the people list like my friend Ray. I thought I lost that contact, but then he called me and sure enough it showed Ray like it normally does. I dunno wtf man... I'm glad I didn't lose contacts like you did though. There's def something not right going on :\
