Perfect Android Device

Hello all. I first started on Mobile Nations on Crackberry back in 2006 or so. My first BB was a 9130 (Pearl). 6 BBs later I wanted something different. BB did not change much or improved since my first. The core pretty much stayed the same so I looked at the iPhone. I've had it since early 2011 and it is now my primary device. My newest BB is on my second line.

I am here today because I am looking to replace my BB with an Android device. I was looking at the Galaxy S3 but there is a problem on VZW with the hacking community so I'm not sure now. I tried the DroidX before I got the iPhone and I didn't like the feel of it so I sold it. I did like the fact I could play NES games on it so it was hard to get rid of. Will I be able to do this with all Android phones?

I still plan on getting the new iPhone that might be coming out later this fall. I just want an Android to play around with.:)

I love my iPad 2, but I let my less geeky husband get the iPhones in the family.

I loved my Droid X, once I got used to the weird shape. I still think it was better than my Thunderbolt. Especially because it took me months to get the battery to stretch, and it still seems unreasonable to me. Had the X not died a horrible death in a swimmimg accident the Thunderbolt would have been sold.

As someone who has covered most of the major mobile platforms what do you think of Windows phones? I was debating holding out for the Lumia 900 on vzw, though the rumors seem to be petering out instead of getting stronger.

I don't plan on buying a Windows phone. I haven't used one so I can't comment on them.
