My phone was a bit laggy (scrolling across home screens was choppy), battery seemed to be draining very quickly, and I was planning to take the unit in and exchange it. However, the stores around me didn't have any white units, so I thought I'd try a factory reset in the meantime.
Settings -> Storage -> Factory data reset
I even cleared out all my media as well (it asks you if you want to keep media). After this, I feel like the phone is running significantly better. No lag, battery lasts much longer. I have been on battery for almost 2 days now with 40% left (with normal use: voice/email/texts/minimal web browsing).
Could obviously be a specific case, or maybe even confirmation bias (i.e. I want it to work better, so I think that it does) - but it's worth a try if you're less than happy with your performance or battery life.
