Performance Boost?

as anyone noticed a significant increase in performance following the 2.2 upgrade? my 2.1 fascinate does everything i need but i know the JIT compiler is "suppose" to offer a faster phone.

also, how seamless is the upgrade? will i lose all my app data?

Mine seems faster and you won't loose the apps just hasn't to pity then back in to the order you well want. They will disappear but not be lost. The main screens will reload back to stock. So some off the pages will look like it did when you got the phone. The down load is pretty quick. Just follow all of the steps. Don't short cut it. I have done two phones and both work great.

My phone is much more responsive since the update. It's like I got a new phone. I only run the stock ROM, but I root and debloat. It's the little things too, like the number of unread text messages on the little icon.

If you would like a number attached to the performance improvement, maybe this will help. My average Quadrant Score on 2.1 was 890, the average with 2.2 is 990.
