Performance decreased while bluetooth is enabled

As the title says, I am experiencing a significant level of performance decrease when my device is connected to my Bluetooth Jawbone Jambox. I first noticed it when running the game Granny Smith with Bluetooth audio, then I would run a quadrant benchmark test just to confirm about this s issue , which showed poor results. Once I've disabled Bluetooth, everything would be normal; game runs with no lag and quadrant scores will be 1000 points higher. Has anybody else here have the same problem? Can anyone chime in on this?
