Hi all. I was currently in Best Buy testing both the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A (the small one) and frankly I am impressed with the 4A.
To my surprise as I tested both I noticed there was some lag when closing or opening applications on the 4A. Obviously the 5 has a better chip and 90hz display but I never got lag on 3A XL and that has a "weaker" chip than the one in the 4A.

Perhaps being a demo unit with the display on all day could be the cause but I would like some feedback from anyone with real world use (the occasional hiccup is fine with me). Do you encounter any frequent performance issues / stutter with the 4A?

I've not observed any performance issues on my Pixel 4a. I also don't game at all.
I and my wife love these phones and all the features.

I haven't noticed any lag or performance issues as well. Very pleased.

Definitely don't go by BestBuy display units.. They are not a good representation of the device...

In all honesty, I only use displays to answer questions like, how does this fit in my hand? or What is the screen like? etc... Any performance issues I see with displays is always disregarded as who knows who did what to the phone before I picked it up...like open as many apps as they can?
