Permanent Root Acheived

First the OTA now this??!? I'm out right now so I can't verify over at XDA, but Phandroid is reporting permanent root has been achieved for our beloved G2.

If this is true, well... I just might cry. If you see a dev in the forums, make sure you give them a HUGE thanks, those guys have been working so hard for this.

Its true lol, go ahead cry lol I might. This just swung me in favour of buying the G2, the root method is still sketchy but will be cleaned up in no time

It works really well and takes about 5 minutes if you know what you are doing. Currently running a desire z rom (hence the sent from). It is a must for people like me who like to tinker. You can also flash a custom recovery through ROM Manager. CM6 is also around the corner.
