Permissions denied

After a first few clear days on cubot note S, I'm repeatedly getting a message on the home screen which says... Permissions denied : you can go to settings : apps.... But I don't know what I'm looking for as it does not identify the cause. I think it's has something to do with my Google mail calendar notifications(my phone is synced) so I uninstall and reinstall g calendar app but no better..... any thoughts anyone, I'm sure it didn't do this first few days?? I understand that apps have permissions but the Google calendar app permissions all look normal so I'm struggling to know what to look for...
