Persistent battery charging update on screen

[Android Central Question]

I just purchased the S10e. I am charging it and the phone display dims every few seconds and shows a progress status in a circle on the centre of the screen.

Can this be turned off as it is quite distracting.

It happens when charging by cable. It happens both while I'm using the phone and when idle. It actually wakes the phone up. I have a Screenshot. How do I include this in a post?

Here's how to post a screenshot: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html. If you're using the main Android Central app, you might not be able to attach an image to a reply (only to an original post).

It's possible the USB connection is loose, and periodically disconnecting and reconnecting. Have you tried other USB cables?
