Greeting.
I'm sorry if this is posted somewhere but I couldn't find it. I have an app that I developed long ago for a Zaurus. It's basically straight Java. I want to port it to my Fire. I downloaded the Android SDK but I don't really know how to go about making an app for the Kindle version of Android, or testing it, or (although this is down the road a bit and I know there are tips available) getting it onto the device. Any advice?

If you make an .apk for it you should be able to transfer that over via the cable and install it yourself.

I use ES File Explorer to open the .apks on the Fire.
