I just went from the note 3 to note 4. on the lock screen, you used to be able to enter a personal message on the note 3 . Now, on the note 4, you can still enter text in the owner information field as before, but the personal message input field is missing. Is it gone,? just wondering, because the owner information filled is pretty short. Thanks!

I don't see the personal message field. You can use a pretty long owner name, it will scroll if it won't fit on one page

Sent from my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Disable all notification in settings>sound and notifications>While locked; select "Do not show notifications" your personal notes will display

Could you please check that path? Do you have Verizon? Under settings , I have sound, and another entry for notifications. I do not have an entry that says sound and notifications. under the two settings that I do have, none of them have the option that says while locked

My problem is this: while 'lock screen' is ON, and I have set in 'Sound and notification' (on my S5) in 'While locked' (having Jelly Bean) option: 'Show all content' all is fine except my 'owner info' is not present'!!!! HOW COME?!!

I believe is bug. I want to see my battery level, my weather info on lock screen with no need to open / unlock my phone, but also this OWNER INFO CONTACT IF FOUND.. BLA BLA BLA... is critical!!! when phone is lost and someone else finds it....

I have to set 'Do not show notifications' for the 'if found pls contact. bla bla bla (my info)' displayed in Lock screen so hopefully someone will contact me... but this way if want to find additional info I ALWAYs must open my phone ... pls. help if there is any other way to make it works right, thanks!

I agree! I'm surprised no one else has really been griping about it... Thanks!

Use a random wallpaper that you have added the contact info etc as text for your lock screen wallpaper. You could write it out and take a picture of it if you can't edit a wallpaper.

Owner info is in fact what you seek. Oddly everyone's steps for security lock screen message or owner info eluded me on 6.0.1.
Finally I used the search field in top right of settings and typed "owner" which brought me to a seemingly hidden menu which contained owner info.
