My battery is way better than what I was getting with my previous phone. Wake up (unplug) at 5:30 AM and charge it again around 1:30 at about 35% and then barely making it to bedtime...
With the S8, I pick it up from the charger at 5:30 AM and it had about 4% at 12:30 AM... it can do better I'm sure but I used Smart Switch to move everything over so I guess that included my 'rogue' apps as well. Smart Switch is a breeze but prevents a user from doing the mandatory 'spring-cleaning'.
How on earth did you ever get 10 hours of SOT on an iPhone 7 plus ?Not sure I'm happy with battery yet. On my iPhone 7 Plus I got over 10 hours. Im at only 5 hours and I'm already at 29%. Could it be my resolution? Im using the WQHD+ 2960x1440.
12 hour screen time on a single charge. This is so much longer than my tablet and laptop both of which have significantly bigger batteries and lower resolution.
Wow that's just incredible guys. I've only have mine a few days so I haven't had a chance to test it like that yet but I do get much better battery life than with my LG V10. I'd charge that at 7 AM and by noon be down to %35, I had to charge that phone 3 to 4 times a day. it was a nightmare. I love this Galaxy s8 plus.I did the that too moved all my stuff from my note 4 to my new s8 + i had good battery life still but when i decided to reset the phone to make it like new it got plenty better imo and standby got a real boost (loose about 1% at night) but never in my wildess dreams did i think someone could get 10 hours sot on a single charge 0.0
You're definitely going to love the battery performance of the S8 series. I'm coming from an LG G5, and my S8+ blows it out of the water. To be fair to LG, from what I read the G6 isn't too shabby either.Well that's exactly what I need. I thought my S5 had good battery life compared to my nexus 5. Cant wait to get my hand on the S8!
I get 5 to 5.5 hrs of SOT, but with brightness set to Auto. I notice that it typically hovers in the highest end of the setting. I also have resolution set to max WQFD.Nobody's mentioned screen brightness. To me that is a key and one of the reasons I don't get very high SOT. So for all you guys getting 10=12 hours of SOT what do you have your brightness level set at?
