Phone advice

I got a friend who is on T-Mobile and is looking to upgrade into the Smartphone world and he asked me for advice.

I told him I would put together a list of a few devices to check out.

What devices on T-Mobile would you suggest, as my experience with T-Mobile is fairly non-existent with me being a Sprint User.

So what hardware keyboard phones would you recommend and which non-hardware keyboard phones would you suggest?

A lot of it will come Dow to what your friend is willing to spend. Obviously most people will start recommending top of the line phones, but if you're friend isn't willing to spend that much then it doesn't really matter.

I suggested to him the Sensation and the G2X. Also suggested for him the GS2, but when he called he was told that phone wouldn't be available until August probably (gotta love customer service). I told him they were full of it on the August comment.

Though I think he misinterpreted what they said as I can't see T-Mobile saying that the phone isn't coming for nearly a year.

That phone is definitely coming out on October 12th and is definitely one to consider. Along the same lines would be the Amaze, which launches on the same day.

The Sensation and G2X have both been very popular. Obviously the best way to figure it out is to go into a store once they're all available and play with them. I've got the G2X right now and have been really happy with it and will be getting one of the new phones this coming week through work. It's a good time to be a T-Mobile customer right now
