Hello all,
Since the Nougat update (yet again) it seems many people are telling me that my call "drops" out. I don't drop the call, they just can't hear me. I tried changing the call settings (advanced calling) but doesn't seem to help. Anyone else experiencing this.
Thanks

I used to get this on wifi calling. I turned wifi calling off but since the list security update, I turned it back on and it works so far.

Tried turning off, still happening. Turned off WiFi and Advanced calling, still happening. Very rarely had this before Nougat update now happens all the time. Not liking Nougat!!!

Yes this has happened to me a few times. Too many problems with Nougat. I dont like it.

Have you tried a factory reset? I realize it can be a pain, but might resolve the problem.

Yes, 2 times. 2nd time installed everything on new install (not from backup). Still an issue. Quality Control at Samsung needs a reboot!

Following. Since the update I and two friends have noticed that intermittently no one can hear me although I can hear the other person perfectly.

Contacted Samsung and they suggested sending phone in to be looked at, what a joke. Definitely a Nougat issue, they need to send out a fix.

Could it be a bad wireless network connection caused by a corrupt or older SIM? I once had a radio issue caused by a SIM. Ask your provider for a new SIM and see if that makes the difference.

I have a new SIM card. No improvement. I took my phone to an AT&T store and they said it was equipment related. Poo. I'm in IT. Something doesn't go from 100 percent reliable to 0 percent reliable after a software update by coincidence.

That blows.

I agree that if the software reload and a new SIM didn't fix it, the only thing left is hardware. Is AT&T going to replace it for you?

My issues were on Verizon and they sent a replacement phone and so far none of the issues have returned. I have not installed Samsung Pay yet as I have read that might be the culprit. Going to wait a couple days to do that.

It's good to know that Big Red can still replace a broken Note 5.

Any idea how old it is? They replaced my five month old Note 5 in March with a original release Note 5 from September 2015. My battery went from great to so-so. It still holds a charge through the day though.

Not sure to find out the date but I know the Serial number on the replacement is older than the one I am returning. Doesn't really matter as long as the phone works like it should.
