"Phone" call on watch - but not on phone?

I was sitting around and my wrist starting buzzing and vibrating a lot. It was an unfamiliar sensation. I looked at it and it was a phone call, I THINK. I did not recognize the number and did not answer it. The issue is that I did not receive any calls on my associated Pixel 6 Pro phone. Since that is the phone/number associated with the watch wouldn't the phone have received the call at the same time? Phone History shows no calls. Am I missing something? Does the watch have its own phone number? Service through Google Fi.

edited to add: Went to Fi's site and there was no call recorded to my Fi account. But, here's a screenshot from the watch.

Do you have the LTE version?

Could this have been a spam call that the phone automatically ignored, but for some reason the watch doesn't have this ability?

I can't speak for Google Fi, but know that on T-Mobile my LTE Pixel Watch will place and receive calls on my primary number but does also have its own distinct number as it is a separately activated line, and it can be called directly.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't think it has its own number as it is an add-on to the Google-Fi account. But I will try checking with Google which is not an easy company to connect with! If it has its own number where would I go to find it - on the watch in some setting or in the App on the phone?

Yes, I have the LTE version. It can make and receive phone calls. Someone in another forum suggested SPAM blocked on the phone but with no specific filter on the watch. It is a legitimate OR phone number. I called it back later (I have an unlisted land line which makes anonymous calls still possible) and some guy answered but I did not follow up on the call.
