Phone charges Wirelessly but wont with Cord

So my phone wont work when i plut it up with the wall charger, but when i use t he wireless charger pad it works. Does that mean i have to replace the bottom socket (yes i know nothing about phones so i called it a socket lol )

How old is your phone? If its an older phone, then yes the charging port could be toast. Did you try any other plugs to be sure?
