Phone charging slowly and not holding charge

My girlfriend's phone is charging slowly and not holding a charge. I suggested that she get a new battery. She did and the problem did not change. She has also tried a couple of different chargers which also did not help. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Any help appreciated.

Try different chargers and different cables! Look at the "Battery" under system manager and see what is causing it to discharge so fast The phone should charge overnight to full charge and last all day with nominal use. Apps that stay on and apps that use GPS such as locator apps and mapping apps eat batteries fast!

Do a search for "battery" in this forum and you will find a bunch of others have had problems and the solutions to battery usage!

Probably a defective charging port.
